Manager’s Job Title
Operations Manager / Key Account Manager – this is a pivotal role with one of the companies most prestigious sites, with the client being based literally next door to the venue, meaning that you are not only responsible for operations, but also for the management of the Key Account Relationship.
The Role
This role requires strategic, commercial, operational planning and leadership competencies.
The Key Account / Operations Manager’s principal responsibilities are:
• Providing leadership, direction, coaching and development paths for Supervisors and staff
• Contract operational budget preparation, management, tracking and reforecasting;
• Very close client liaison and communications
• Health & Safety implementation of procedures, documentation, performance audit and best practice
• Development of the contract to it’s full potential
• Implementing and reviewing performance of accreditations including ISO 9001:2008 and Investors In People, including further on going development of policies and procedures and best practices for the site
• To become an integral part of the Operations Management team
Location
North West London – you must live within an easy commute to this location. The nature of the venue is 24/7 365, so easy access and commuting distance is vital.
Candidate
• Experience in an operational role or similar in an event / destination venue / leisure venue / car park or multi-faceted location with experience in all / most of the above competencies
Competent IT skills – proficient in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel;
• Ability to prioritise, be proactive, take the initiative and work to deadlines;
• Evaluate conflicting priorities and be able to drive forward solutions to multiple challenges being presented for resolution in the same timeframe;
• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills;
• Highly customer and service focused;
• A team-player and experienced in effectively managing a team;
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills;
• Possession of a full driving license.
• Be self-motivated and have a proactive rather than a reactive approach to situations, events and planning
• Able to focus on detail without loosing sight of the full picture.
• Positive Demeanour, hard working and a great leader.
Package
£Negotiable basic £35,000 or in excess of that amount, company car or car allowance, home office set up, mobile, Blackberry etc. Strong OTE which is very achievable.
